INVITRO 'Explodes' At Radio With 'When I Was A Planet'

May 14, 2007

INVITRO, the California-based band featuring ex-SNOT/SOULFLY guitarist Mikey Doling, has exploded at radio with its debut album, "When I Was A Planet", charting at No. 2 most added for FMQB and CMJ at #5. Since then the group has shot up the charts to #33 on the FMQB Top 100 and debuted at #48 in Media Guide's metal charts.

"We couldn't be happier with the response we've been getting from radio. We're noticing more and more kids at the shows supporting us and singing along," says INVITRO frontman Jeff Weber. "It's a great feeling knowing that fans enjoy our music."

INVITRO has been heating up phone lines at Sirius Satellite Radio's Hard Attack and Octane; Music Choice; WMHC in Northampton, MA; WZMR in Albany, NY and WZOR in Green Bay, WI.

INVITRO is currently on the road with STATIC-X and OTEP leading up to the release of its debut album, which lands in stores on August 7, 2007 through Gridiron Records.

"STATIC-X fans are amazing, and every night they're ready for anything sharing the bill with STATIC-X and OTEP always ensures a night that's high-energy with a few surprises," says Weber. "With the great people we're meeting each night we know that nothing but positive things are to follow."

The title track from INVITRO's "When I Was A Planet", as well as "New Disease" and "Hollyvision", can now be heard at this location.
